Luke Lerdwichagul's content is SUCKY!

Remember Luke Lerdwichagul or SMG4, the YouTuber who is famous for his Mario-centric animations?

He used to make videos out of the video game Super Mario 64. But, as time passes, he grew out of SM64 and started to use Garry's Mod.

Mostly, I like SMG4's old content (2011-12) at best. One of my favorites was Bloopception, where Mario tries to make a blooper that's like what the titular character has made. You can watch the 2011 bloopers here. The development of SMG4's Mario has made him an idiot and an excessive lover of pasta, spaghetti and more. Over time, old characters were removed and replaced with newer ones.

Want to see how I react to SMG4's most recent content? It's too cringey. They're NOT FUNNY, I DID NOT LAUGH. Especially with making the videos story-based instead of comedy. Turning Meggy into full-on human? Meh. A blue-haired video gamer girl? MEH. A Spike who is a crybaby? DOUBLE MEH. Killing off a hated Splatoon OC? That broke the fanbase more.

What makes SMG4 worse is that they made a whole animation company. A company that goes by the name of Glitch Productions. And they put the name right smack on the channel name! "SMG4 // Glitch Productions?" That only makes the channel name stand out to copy-cats!

A whole web show about that gamer girl I mentioned started on November 2019. I didn't even watch the whole first season! I'm still used to his super-old content.

The Verdict for: SMG4
5/10
